Uniform Details

Stockists of School Uniform for Boys & Girls:
                   Shaws, Gemma’s, Joe Walsh, Fennessy’s, Noel’s Menswear, Mike O’Connell’s

Girls: Light blue shirt (plain), school tie, navy vee-necked pullover with school crest, navy skirt mid-calf length (the skirt and pullover to match), navy socks. Navy cords (to match the school pullover) are permitted for girls from November until Easter. Navy, black or grey soft soled shoes or boots.

Boys: Light blue shirt (plain), school tie, navy vee-necked pullover with school crest, medium grey trousers (flannel, terylene or terylene-wool mixture). Jeans, denims, canvas, cords or cottons may NOT be worn. Navy, black or grey soft soled shoes or boots.

Sixth Year Boys: As outlined above with the exception that Sixth Year boys may wear navy instead of grey trousers.

Sixth Year Girls: Sixth Year Girls only may wear a pin striped blue shirt, as an alternative to the usual blue
shirt.

P.E. Class: Clean and appropriate leisure wear, with appropriate shoes for astroturf, complete change of underwear, towel and soap. (Showers must be taken after each P.E. or games session). After P.E. students must change back into their school uniform before going home.

General:
Blazers (navy in colour) are optional for pupils, except for prefects, for whom they are required wear. The wearing of blazers on formal school occasions is encouraged. Leather jackets are not permitted. Cords, jeans, canvas, cottons or denims should NOT be worn (with the exception of girls’ cords from November until March noted above).
All pupils should be particular about cleanliness and tidiness in their dress and general appearance in accordance with school requirements. Girls may wear simple earrings, and boys are permitted to wear one small ear stud.

ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING, especially items of school uniform, SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED

WITH THE OWNER’S NAME.
